I've been doin it for a couple years now. I've been 'blessed' with fibromyalgia and narcolepsy and so I'm usually pretty sleepy. I can't afford the narcolepsy medication an it makes me sick anyways so I started dipping and found it helps with the sleepiness.

I gues my question is are there added risks of tobacco use with FM over somebody without it?

ronr

Possible but not proven.  Of course the anti tobacco folks will give all sorts of reasons.

Yeah honestly I get tired of hearing all the anti tobacco mess and seeing death threats on every can I buy. I understand there are risks n whatever but people need to give it a break. It's my choice.

I think its pretty clear no tobacco is best what I fear is people turning to alternatives or harmful drugs to self medicate. I spent last night helping a lady who was self medicating for emphysema and yet chain smoking. lets just say the ambulance ride is the least of her worries.. :emorant: I understand the need for something that makes you feel better even if it isnt helping I just worry about what else is happening.

Nobody knows.. but the less you smoke, the more your lungs will love you.
