See,the aliens are all from different universes.
Its just too difficult to travel between stars.
There all from earth but different universes.
Were all homo saps but we turned out differently because
of enviromental pressures and such.

lol denny - one of the attractions of my husband was that his skin looked like those people from Below the Planet of the Apes,
all translucent like    I have every reason to believe he was an alien - his mind was so quantum   ad infinitum.
That was the main attraction.  One morn he woke up all disoriented as to where he was.  He had just lived everyday for 5 yrs as a scientist on Jupiter.

When he recently left his body, there was HUGE deafening sounds of a rocket launching, everything shook like an earthquake,
the air was vibrant and rushing.  It was physically incredible!

A not alien tale - I had made chit chat with a dr what a psychic had told me that a 12th level martian had taken over
my body.  Haha, I laughed.  Later, on reading my medical records, there was mentioned that patient believed a martian had
possessed her body.  Some drs select some things to record, and disregard important items you want recorded.

I learned to stay only within my symptoms, pain and medications.  No idle chit chat.

The book I am currently writing is called "Dimensional Demons" it is about exactly what you are talking about. There is a great book called "Exo-Vaticana" you ought to check it out. Here is the site with the info on how to get the book and other goodies. I had thoughts about this kind of thing for a very long time before hearing about the book.

It makes you think about all the time, energy and money we have spent looking out into space and have never seen anything approaching us. We only see them when they are here. I think they just slip from one heaven (Dimension) to another; they do not come from outer space.

Of course, my book is fiction but some of it is based on their studies and findings.
