Hey guys, just wanted to post i got the job i applied for the other week! They have been super accommodating with my issues and the team i work with is really friendly. Although i go home sore as hell and tired, it is worth it. There isn't to much heavy lifting involved even though it is retail. Happy to be working again.

Barberian

Congratulations! I hope everything works out well and the fibro takes it easy on ya.

Well done.  So pleased that you were chosen.

I guess as tired as you maybe when you get home, it's all about pacing yourself.  Hopefully the weekends will give you some relief.

Bravo!!!  :clapping:  That's wonderful news brother.  It's good to hear that they're accommodating your needs.. as has been said, from there it's a whole lot of pacing yourself and making sure you get the rest you need.  Way to go Gearhead!!  :budy:

Weekends? What are those? Haha just kidding, i usually work weekends though i often have a couple of days off during the week to rest. I'm getting pretty steady hours, so it is easy to pace myself.

Tay

Sounds all good.  Just enjoy those week days off!!!  (or Weekend middle of the week days off!!)

Doing well, recently got recognized for my work! So far the fibro has taken it easy on me, though it is a lot of standing during full shifts there is not a lot of lifting to worry about. I do often feel it at the end of a shift and have difficulty walking. I think i am starting to learn how to manage and deal with it.

Robby

That's GREAT. Just don't assume that if you can do this, that you can handle working just one more shift, or just a couple more hours one day, and not pay for it. I've made that mistake too many times. I hope, and pray you can keep it up.

Good stuff... Just keep going low and slow.  :clapping:

Robby's bang on here... it's going ok, just keep your senses tuned for your body rejecting the pace and be willing to adjust accordingly.  The signals normally come later than they need to so keeping a journal can often help to figure out how far you can safely go and not get whacked by mini flares.

Great to hear such good news.  Keep it up brother!!  :clapping:
