I've wore one of those sleep trackers for a few nights and what I found is almost scary. I mean it's nothing I didn't already know, it's just seeing it in black and white that's scary. I'm just wondering if anyone else has tried a sleep tracker and what your results were.

The tracker doesn't include the total time in bed, I kept track of that separately. All it knows is when you go to sleep not how long you lay in bed before falling asleep and for me that is usually 45min to 1.5hrs.

Total time     sleep time     #times awake    time awake   #times restless
in bed

7hr 15min       5hr 2min      6                    57 min           21

9h                  7h 49m       5                     1h 6m           6

8                   4h 36m        8                         33m         8

5                       57m

4h 30m            1h 9m       5                            22m         2

About 10 yr ago I was told I have apnea because I smoke and my O2 level dropped from 99% to 97%. Of course the sleep specialist was also a pulmonologist, and he wanted to put me on oxygen, before the test just because I smoked, and definitely after the test on trumped up results. Even though I had explained the painful conditions I end up in. So I dismissed his claims.

My biggest problem is I lay there an hour, hour and a half and I start hurting so bad that I have to get out of bed for 30 min to an hour. It's all pain related. I sit up hour or two and start to hurt so bad that I have to lay down, lay down an hour or two and hurt so bad I have to sit up for a while. It's always the one I'm not doing that I need.

I should have made this clear in the first post, "but fog for brains". I'm sure I'm not the only one that has the pain problems effecting sleep,

Not to mention that it takes me 45 min to and hour and a half before I ever fall asleep, I can't shut off my brain long enough to get sleepy. So I'm behind the curve to start with, of course my brain does activate during the night keeping me awake on top of the pain.

O2 level of 97 is not bad. If it was in the 80s you might need oxygen

I know people with a lower O2 than that but have never smoked!
