I have also used Kaiser for acupuncturist.  I think I've tried 6 so far.  I only found one willing to go after the trigger points.  The problem is they didn't do enough and they only let you stay for about 30 minutes.  I have pushed the treatment way past that, 100's needles for 2-3 h, so it's hard to lighten up when I know there is so much that needs to be done.  : :( :

I know the feeling... the pessimist in my keeps telling me that sessions are only long enough to tick off a whole lot of trigger points... now that's not exactly true but there are a few times where it sure felt that way.  We keep working to improve how we do things but if there's a trick to it, we've yet to perfect it, that's for sure.  Little by little, every day.  If we can at least keep our range of motion stable, we're doing something right.

That's interesting db.
Thanks for the info. It really did hurt tho.
The accu-guy also said my fibro would go away if I stopped drinking orange juice. : :( :
So it kinda turned me off to the whole thing.

That's really unfortunate.  It makes me angry when doctors and other health professionals are so sure of their pet theories that they are willing to perpetrate what is essentially malpractice by giving them false hope and telling them lies.  It's so unprofessional of them!  Personally, I would be inclined to take my business elsewhere to someone who is less deluded and much less willing to harm their patients with false information about their condition.

Orange juice???  Seriously???  Talk about your wackadoodles!  :emorant:
