Hello MWF friends!

It has been quite a while since I was last here so, I thought that I would stop by and say hello (and, of course, ask a question.

I just wondered if any of you had seen any connection between Fibro and Sinusitis.  I have struggled w/sinus probs for as long as I can remember and have now gotten to the point where I am not sure Antibiotics are even helping.  I am almost constantly congested.  this makes life hard. it gives me additional headaches, exacerbates my fatigue and more.  I appreciate any assist you might give.

Robby

I've fought sinusitis my whole life. I stay congested and always have a runny nose, unfortunately most of it runs straight down my throat into my stomach. Which means I now have chronic diarrhea , and running to the bathroom holding your butt cheeks clenched  :yikes: , while in a fibro flare is not fun  . I don't know if that makes you feel any better but that's the way it is.   :emobadmod:

I will put you in the trunk, and help people look for you, DON'T TEST ME.

I have that diagnosis too but only the last 5 years or so.  I did have symptoms much earlier but they always blamed it away on something else. Fluticasone script used occasionally and the external nasal strips used occasionally help but of course do not cure.

Making a link with FiBro may be hard.
Times are tough when "Happy Hour" is your nap.
My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely!

I must have been blessed.  I take Claritin(morn), Allegra (night), Singulair, fluticisone, Nasalcrom, and a couple others that I  can't recall their names.  I have had 4 surgeries over the years and STILL I have chronic Sinusitis!!

I realize there is no known relationship between sinus probs and Fibro but, apparently it is pretty common for a Fibro patient to struggle with sinus probs too.

denny

That's tough stuff. :bighug:
I guess I don't have that but I sure do hope you get some relief.
I can't stand not being able to breath through my nose. :emorant:
Dad on the other hand was a mouth breather.
Never was able to breath through his nose.
Lost all his teeth in his 20s.
Seemed to be used to it.
