Is anyone seeing this?
I'm not in a very good spot I think. : :( :

Yeah, we picked up some overpriced, but worth it, paper glasses with the correct tinted lenses (a lot like the cheap 3D glasses, but dark lenses) on our speed trip to Denver a couple of weeks ago.

We were about 80-90% covered and the sun looked like a crescent moon, but rotated 90 degrees with the sun on top.

I spent most of my lunch half-hour standing outside, leaning against the building watching the moon creep across the sun.

I just didn't have that much interest in seeing it. I saw one when I was young and it was just disappointing at the time, so I just didn't get excited this time.

It did get somewhat dark here for a brief period. But we weren't in the "total eclipse" (of the heart lol) area.

I will put you in the trunk, and help people look for you, DON'T TEST ME.

Of course you would have had a good view Oly. I was wondering...

I didn't see any good deal on the last one either robby.
I remember being in art class and noticing the shade of a small tree was very dapled
and looked to be all crecents in the dapelness. :emocrazy:

This time I watched it real time on the telly. :sleep1:
It was cool though. Got a little the dark. Looked like a fog to the southwest.

I have a welder's glass leftover from one of my past abilities, life.  Too bad I could not get to look at it more than a few times.

Yeah... we were so far out of the dark path that it wasn't even going to give us a little thrill.  Sad that there won't be another one in my path in this lifetime... I was pretty darned lucky to be there in 79 when it looped through Canada... right smack dab in the middle of the deepest shadow.  Pretty darned cool!!  I still remember it like it was yesterday.  Hope some of you out there got to experience it too. :great:
