What do chickens eat?

E V E R Y T H I N G!
It's going to be a very different garden from here on out.
Free eggs? A young chicken eats 5lbs food a week!
I could buy eggs for what they eat.
They try to eat the moles off my hand!

So,ground covers,including gravel,is out.
I still have a few sprigs in the cracks of the rock garden.
Well,I've decided to see it as a challenge.
I KNOW I can outsmart a chicken...

What a challenge!!!  Hungry chickens... hopefully, you'll get at least as much out of them as they get out of you.

They already have Paul. Lil' critters are a blast.
Running through the garden like a bunch of little Jurassic Park dinosaurs. Fun to watch!
Chicken poop is not the seemingly insignificant thing I though it as a child.
On the bright side the dogs seem to clean up after most of it.
